Happy Fourth of July 2012 - Pear Pastries
Had a small can of pear halves and a sheet of puff pastry in the freezer so I decided to make pears in puff pastry.
It was simply draining the pears, slice them and put them in a bowl with some cinnamon sugar and a little bit of cornstarch. Mixed that all together.
Took the puff pastry, rolled it out and placed one or two slices of pears on the pastry. Folded the pastry over the pears. Crimped the dough with a fork and sprinkled cinnamon sugar on top.
Baked them for 20-25 minutes in a 400 degree oven.

I'll bet they were tasty and especially amazing because they were served on your special flo-blu.
