I really have been thinking of some healthier and satisfying dishes for budget cooking. Don't know about you, but my food budget has been pretty low so I have been striving to use what I have and make a complete meal. Sometimes the budget is better than others and even though I could complain I am not. Why? It's a challenge for me. What can I possibly concoct from what I have on hand.
However when my budget does pick up I have some wonderful recipes I will be sharing with you. Today we had snow here in Connecticut and it's rather chilly so look through this blog and you are sure to find a nice hearty winter meal. Whether it's a roast of some kind or a soup, it's all here in my Cooking On A Budget blog.
