Blizzard Conditions on the East Coast

We are snowed in and hunkered down on the East Coast of the United States. They call these a NorEaster.
It's a great day to make some homemade soup. And I have some great recipes right here on my food blog.

You will love all of the soup recipes. By the way I made the baked potato soup and it lasted in a lidded container for up to 2 weeks. Most of my soups can be made and then frozen.

We have not had that much snow - yet. Here are some photographs.

This is an update on Saturday Feb. 9, 2013 - quite a difference.

There is about 3-4 feet of snow and our car is buried in snow. Joy, Joy.
