What is a porterhouse steak? Do you know? Well here is an excellent video that explains it all. This picture is from this week when I grilled two of these babies for dinner. Last night I warmed them up and served them with my left over pork gravy to which I added more sauteed mushrooms and some creamy mashed potatoes on the side and sliced garden tomatoes. Because I grill my steaks medium rare they warm through nicely the next day after letting them sit out to get close to room temperature. You can see that you get a good amount of meat so if you have somewhat hearty appetites, serves four. Less hearty, six. And if you have a teenage son well....you do the math!
