Sunday Dinner

Alright so it looks cruddy but I just had to take a photograph of my "beer can chicken" gadget I picked up a few weeks ago.

For $3.00 this little gadget worked perfectly!

Without this gadget we had to tie up the chicken around the base of the can. With - the chicken fit perfectly and the legs fit so nicely.



Sunday supper consisted of Beer Can Chicken served with mashed potatoes and a gravy I made using the neck bones and innards they pack inside the cavity. Fresh tomato and mozzarella salad rounded it out.


This time I seasoned the chicken very simply: salt, ground black pepper, onion powder and granulated garlic. The cooking method produces a juicy and tender bird. If you have never tried this method before, give it a go.
