Peanut Butter Blossoms


A simple easy baking recipe that yields a cookie we all love.
  • 48 Hershey's Kisses
  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • Additional sugar for rolling
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°. Remove the wrappers from the chocolates.
  2. In a bowl sift the flour, baking soda and salt.
  3. Cream the butter until light and fluffy. Add in the peanut butter and beat again until incorporated.
  4. Add in the white and brown sugar and beat until it is fluffy and the sugars are well incorporated.
  5. Add in the egg, milk and vanilla and beat until blended.
  6. Add the 1/3 of the flour mixture in at a time until blended.
  7. Shape the dough into one inch balls. Roll in the granulated sugar. Place the balls on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Press the center of the balls.
  8. Bake for about 8-10 minutes and when they come out of the oven press a chocolate kiss in the center.
  9. Remove the cookies to a wire rack and cool completely.
